Unlike conventional copper wire, a cut / damaged fibre cable cannot simply be twisted or crimped back together. It takes time to prepare and precision work, the bad section is removed and the remaining fibre must be carefully spliced with specialized electronic equipment to ensure that no data loss occur. Light Power testing is also done to assure quality, light transmission.
